The 2010 Operations Levy is a Replacement
On Tuesday, February 9, Vashon Island School District (VISD) will ask Islanders to renew the four-year operations levy* which expires in December of 2010.
This is not a new tax; it replaces an existing tax that makes up 20% of the districtÕs general fund for essential education and operations.
This levy is critical! Here's what it supports:

- Transportation
- Custodial Services and Building/Grounds Repairs
- Curriculum Development
- Professional Development
How much will it cost tax payers?
